Sheep keeping and wool course 19/20th September

Two day course
Day one everything you want to know about keeping sheep.
The legal aspect, land, fencing, housing, handling, ailments, breeding etc
Aimed at the small flock owner and especially those who keep Ouessant sheep.
Val Grainger has over 40 years of experience with many different breeds of sheep and is a trained trainer.
She has run many sheep keeping and wool processing courses including for the Ouessant Sheep Society.
10am-4pm lunch and plenty of refreshments and cake provided
Day two
Wool and wool crafts with Nessi Coombes and Val Grainger.
To include washing, drying and preparing fleece at home, felting, peg looming, dyeing, spinning, drop spindles and much more to whet your appetite.
10-2 with refreshments and cake.
All participants will receive a copy of the companion sheep handbook by Wendy Thompson.
